My fishing buddy and his wife bought 66 unimproved acres on a 30-acre unimproved lake.
And that's a scenic 10-pound largemouth he caught. It was full of frogs and still eating and he caught it on a fake frog.

This 2016 TEP w/KDSS is a big step up from the 1986 Subaru GL wagon I used on the Outer Banks beaches for 14 years. That thing would go anywhere in the sand on 185/70-13 tires. Dual range 5 speed, factory skid plate, 3 position manually adjustable rear shocks and armored exhaust. All factory, including the white spoke wheels. The front sub frame finally rusted apart.

Baldwin Creek Trail this weekend. Beautiful weather and the lake and creek were really full. Mosquitoes were vicious though

Trip to East/SouthEast Oregon. Stayed at Mitchell, Malheur Forest and Summer Lake. The shots of the stormy weather are from outside Mitchell. We don't get much weather like this in the bay area and I miss it from where I lived before I moved here. A shout out to the guys at Chewaucan garage in Paisley for fixing me up when I lost a bolt off the rear sway.

That's a nice cross section of central Oregon. Great views from the ridge above Summer Lake. That little garage/gas station is a gem. We've got bolts and gas from them as well, - when its been on bikes it gets a little wild - 25 guys on dirt bikes taking turns gassing up and doing wheelies up and down the street. It's been a wet spring, how were the skeeters around Paisley?

We only saw one, the one on the garage wall! but we were only there a few hours. This was the first time we had them in Mitchell, a lot in Summer Lake and nothing biting at all when we camped on the North Fork of the Malheur River. The younger guy who works there has a Taco, real nice people. That many bikes would be a sight to see, not many about when we were there, only one guy on a bike travelling around from the Midwest, he was getting advice on which of the local roads to take.
