Anyone in central new jersey

I'm looking for local trails and off-road spots to go explore in the truck. Any hints. I remember one trail led behind great adventure by the safari but forgot how we got there. It's probably not legal due to its right up to the fence. Just something tondo for an hour or four.

The Pine Barrens are always fun but that's far down. Near exit 69 or something on parkway. Stokes State Forest is a lot of fun and its legal. Lastly, at Island Beach State Park you can drive on the beach. Those are the only places I have played around in NJ. You can go to PA and there are a lot more spots including off road parks.

I'm up in NW NJ, Where can you get in to the Stokes State Forest trails? I've had my 4runner for a month and it has yet to see dirt.

That would be Reed Road. It is a legal road to drive on with trails off to the side. I pass that road everyday.

I've driven on it before and it's all flat. I haven't taken any of the side trails though, but they might be a little fun. NJ sucks for wheeling lol.

I'm in central NJ and it is probably the worst area for off-roading. There really isn't anywhere to go unless you go south.

Might want to try your local high school baseball field and drive around the infield.Anyone in central new jersey

No trail I've ever been on have been more adventurous than the streets of Camden.

I grew up in central NJ (Warren Township) and went to Rutgers for college. You couldn't have picked a worst state than NJ for off roading. Your only option is the Wharton State Forest and Island Beach State Park. Both offer zero technical challenges and at best sandy mud bogging. Head to Paragon Off road Park in Hazleton, PA if it still exists. It's the only place that has half decent trails in the area.

That's the one I'm talking about. It's actually the first one that pops up when you type in "Reed Road NJ" in google.

The road itself is nothing special, but there are smaller trails off to the side that I haven't explored yet.
