Hands Free Clarity Sucks

Does anyone have issues with the clarity of the connected person? I feel like it is always crackling and the other person sounds terrible on my 16 TEP 4Runner. My 14 Tundra was crystal clear. Does anyone else have this issue or should I just take it back and complain?

Mine works great. I use it every day and it is very clear. I would have dealer check it.

Try deleting your phone from the system and reinstalling it.

There are many variables with cellular clarity e.g., phone carrier service, phone type, tower locations, caller regions... and the list goes on and on!
Try pairing someone else's phone and check call quality or try un-pairing/pairing your phone with the truck and see how it works out as @3wbdriver has suggested, Best!

I have no issues and it is very clear. I will add that of various makes I've owned, the Toyota is the loudest inside (cabin/road noise) yet has the best quality of sound from phone calls and also clearest audio transmitted to the other side. Out does BMW, Audi, Mercedes.

Call clarity on Bluetooth is fine in my truck. I will also add that it is miles better than my Acuras, wife's Mazda, as well as other cars i have been in. The best Bluetooth quality ever was in my Kia Optima with the Microsoft system in it. That thing was like the person was in the car. Too bad the rest up the car was a heap.

My clarity is great and like above, it is clearer than the phone is. This is over the course of two different models and four phones, and using it in the Miami area, Jacksonville, and DC metro area. T-mobile network, currently have Samsung S5.

Same for me. What does the connected person say about how you sound?

Sorry @Simpleman74 , I was agreeing with you while asking @mkruse7678 about the other side of his calls. Probably could have made that a bit more clear.

Phone quality sucks

Just picked up a 2016 Limited. Bluetooth phone connectivity is poor. Cuts out in weaker signal areas (1 to 2 bars) where it used to work in my 3 series. Have no idea why, the phone is the same I used in my other vehicle.

Skipping occurs with those on the other end of the line and I apparently sound like I'm in a tunnel with poor clarity.

When I make or receive a phone call in my 2017 Limited using my I Phone 7 everyone complains about an echo. Any solutions?
