Thank you...same info I saw as well.

@ aspec44
thanks for the update. I have run E load tires on my xterra and I think I am going to wait for the C load 285's. The C load is fine for what I normally do and I would prefer a bit more comfort this time around. I hope it doesn't take to long for the C load 285's to come out.

May have missed it, but does anyone know what the 285 flavor weighs?

They seem similar to the ST MAXX Coopers, both being a mid point between an AT and MT Tire. Wonder how they compare...
Nitto Ridge Grappler
Cooper ST Maxx
Now if only someone would make a 255/80/17 tire in Load Range C and I would be very happy!

Each side of the tire has a different pattern. If you don't like it, you can always have the tire shop flip the tire around to the other style.
These tires perform great off-road and on the street thus far. Haven't driven in the rain a lot yet though. Here are some photos from Ouray and Moab this week.

I did some googling but couldn't find the weight of the 285s. Anyone know how they compare to the same size K02s?

If you search this discount tire posted about the weights. The 285 in C range weighs 54 pounds if I remember correctly. If I am recalling all the info right the 285 E range weighs 58 pounds. I read it yesterday, somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
