I was relieved and stoked to find that 275/70R17 BFG KO2's fit easily on my 2019 Limited with no trimming or pushing of any fender liners. I wish someone made a 265/75R17 tire, but instead, I'll end up going to 18 inch wheels for summer too, so I can run a 265/70R18 tire instead. Should be a viable way to increase static ground clearance without having to hack up the car.

285 or wider width tires look stupid on these trucks, like a little kid playing dress up and wearing their parents shoes.

Thanks for your pics. You saved me a ton of time! Once installed (did it last year), is it easy to change out the lens by unscewing the 4 setscrews and inserting another lense plate?

Plastidip. I have known a few folks who have had trouble with vinyl peeling or not lasting, but my plastidip was rock solid over 3 years on my 2016.

Hey all, I really appreciate this thread. I just picked up a 2016 a week ago and the mods have started.

So far just some small things like tint and removing running boards.

Eventually I want to replace the wheels, but living with them for now.

Day one:

After full tint and board removal:

You have to take off the entire front bumper and un-clip from the back.

bumper swap today

I've been accumulating parts over the past 6 months and got the final pieces in last week.

Tackled this today. Not that tough of a job. I did it myself and it would have been a bit easier with a helper during some steps.

I did the Chinese TRD grill (lights still to do) and I'm not thrilled with the fitment. Granted...it's like a quarter of the cost. Going to try and work it a bit more tomorrow with a heat gun.

You can see on one of the pics how much lower the limited bumper sits compared to the trail/TRD. There is some trimming you need to do, but it's not difficult just a little time consuming.

Also went with the RCI filler plate. I'm happy with the results (once I fiddle with the TRD bar more).

Looking good. It looks like you didn't keep your front proximity sensors on the new bumper.

Good eye

Yes. The sensors are sitting in the basement. The rears still work and I do not get any type of errors. Honestly, usually have it turned off because I usually have my bike hitch 1UP rack and it's constantly going off. Not a huge loss.

I also ended up buying the mud guards that work with the setup.

Those cost me an extra $67.82.

I just put them on today.

If it EVER quits raining I'll take a picture.

Looks awesome. Did you relocate the parking sensors ? If so, can you post a picture of them.

Thanks
