Can you retract the mirrors while running? I could use that function while backing into my garage.

I had to tap 3 wires in the kick panel. The rest was plug and play. As long as the car is either on or in accessary mode, you can manually press the fold/unfold bottom. The auto fold works with lock and unlock.

Just like what the others have said, start by collecting all the necessary parts. Mine were all used parts so I saved a ton of money on the conversion. I also did all the work myself, so more money saved. Honestly, I wouldn't pay anyone to do it. With that being said, I have a front reinforcement/ crash bar available along with front and rear trd offroad valance for sale in the north dallas texas area for anyone wanting to do this conversion.

My 2011 4wd. Almost 130k miles. Stock XREAS still working and holding up fine but getting bored of the stock height. Nothing special except wheels and just religiously maintained and well kept.
Upcoming upgrades
-Dobinsons coils+shocks/struts 302/505 combo
-32" or 33" AT3W
-Low profile rock sliders

2015 Limited. Blacked out some chrome, added TRD grill, 'Raptor' lights, Toytec Top1-T front spacer, interior and back up LED lights, and up-sized tires to 275-55-20 (Falken Wildpeak AT3). Been a productive 6 months of quarantine...

Which backup LED did you choose and do you find it beneficial? All the different comparison threads are confusing.

Not positive, but pretty sure I used Philips #921 LED's. It's an improvement, but honestly not by much. But for cheap money (maybe $20 at local Auto shop) and easy 5 min install it's probably still worth it. If want significantly more light, go with Tail as Turn module from Diode Dynamics. The interior LEDs were a big difference however - particularly in the cargo area.
