I get that but what is being held from where when it's pushed back in place? Something under the fender? Behind the headlight? Under the fender liner?

I have the same issue on my passenger side so knowing how to achieve the fix would be nice.

I attached a photo with a markup of where I pushed to snap the bumper into place. I snapped in the portion under the headlight and held it into place while snapping in the area where the bumper meets the fender. You can see in the picture that it’s flush.

This photo is of how it originally was. Not the greatest photo but you can see it is not flushed.

You'll get a better idea if you try this. Push in the area where the bumper meets the fender and you'll see the bumper distort and will pop out beneath the headlight. If it distorts in another area, then hold that area securely while snapping in the area where the bumper meets the fender. You'll know it's secured because it'll snap in tight.

Good luck and hope this helps you or even other members battling this issue.

I have the same issue on my passenger side so knowing how to achieve the fix would be nice.

when I installed my trd bumper (did the limited to pro conversion) I saw first hand how the sides of the bumper slips would be weak if the bumper guides under the headlights are not supported correctly. I believe these are the 4 areas which help hold the fender to bumper alignment.

My bumper has been on for 9mo so far and has no gaps :-)
