Got the 5 degree angle with the tread plate and powdercoated black. I had a local powdercoater paint the treadplate red to go with my red decal.
Mine is KDSS so it took about twice as long to install the driver side but I think if I did it again it would be longer but not by twice. Use these instructions. Print it out and take it with you.

I did mine 99% by myself. I only had help as I was jacking up the inside and holding the break lines out. Helper lifted up the outside of the slider so the slider plate slid flat against the frame as I was jacking it up.
Nice sliders. 50lbs driver side and 60 lbs passenger side. Now if I can figure out how to attach a pic.
I have a Toytech BOSS lift (Tandem Automotive in Haltom City, TX, highly recommended especially if you have KDSS) with factory tires as I have seen some threads where people are asking what it looks like. Not too bad, it is just that the stock Bridgestones are ugly. I do plan on new tires and wheels next year. With the lift the front wheels come in too much and I don't want to use spacers.
