Ditch pillar light mount w/o cutting plastic? 5th gen

Hi..

I was wondering if there is any A-Pillar ditch light mount that doesn't require cutting into plastic piece.. I want a direct bolt on.. Thanks.

Pretty sure some members here have just been heating the plastic and shutting the hood to kind of reform it. I haven't mounted mine yet so I'm not really sure how well that works.

Oh ok. I saw online that Cali Raised do have the ditch mount and they said "that it's a direct bolt-on." I was however, unable to find a 4rummer owner using them so i can't be sure

Heat gun and a putty knife is what I used. CBI brackets for me.

Yeah, Cali Raised does make "bolt on" mounts. I believe they mount to existing holes under the hood. I haven't ordered yet, but will also be ordering soon.

I just used a heat gun to soften the plastic where they contacted then closed the hood and let it sit (pushed down where it needed to and not where it didn't) did this a couple times and worked perfectly.

no drilling or cutting done on mine either. The hear allows it to deform just enough to allow the hood to sit flush, unless you know it is there no one will ever know. I removed mine to go a different direction and can't tell unless I have the hood up during a detail and am looking at it.
