5th gen Colorado eye candy

I recently took a trip to Ouray with a couple of friends and ht all the trails. We got a ton of cool photos, so I figured i would post some of the better ones here. I'm going to slowly roll them out (like 1 or 2 a day). It was a great trip and the trucks performed flawlessly and looked good doing it ;-)

(orginal pic removed, people were upset by seeing a truck in the grass )

Yes he made it and yes it was the wall at P Gulch.

We actually hit that trail twice. The first time it was raining and hailing when we got to the wall. I somehow made it (had to use my front locker and air down pretty low). I had to give him a little tug up that day. The second time was when the picture was taken (pretty dry) and we both made it with ease. I would say it requires a rear locker, but it can be done with open diffs if it is dry and you use a little momentum and hit the right line.

On the second day we had another 5th gen TRD Pro with us (it did have lift, bumpers...) and he almost made it, but had to be winched up a little towards the top.

The easiest line is to run you rear passenger tire right up the edge of that notch you see under the truck. You sort of point left and then turn passenger as you get to the top. I think we had to back him up a little from where that pic was taken to get the right line. If you don't hit it right.. the back tire will slip in and turn you the wrong way.
