Modern mustangs seem to have it nailed...but you would have to own a mustang..
BMW's and Mercs seem to do alight too.

Every Porsche also seems to be designed to perfectly fit a very tiny woman and a very very tall and heavy man.

I was having issues with the seats in my ORP and it would cause lower back / hamstring pain. The lumbar support in the seat was not in the right place for me. I ordered an external lumbar pad and it has helped tremendously. If it doesn’t work you can always return it.

The uncomfortable seat actually put me on the fence about buying one of these but I figured I would adjust to it or find an addition; I just drove 10 hours a day across country, and the thing that saved my life: this seat cushion
*1" is higher than I wanted to be in the seat but it eliminated leg fatigue.

Here is your solution. Totally game changer in the 4Runner for me, especially on longer drives: Front Seat Jackers - 4Runners, GX and FJs

Adding only the front seat jackers provides better support of my legs, which in turn helps the back. You can also adjust the seat for a bit more leg room... I can get comfortable similar to driving a full size pickup with these again.
Recently I rode in the passenger seat after a long hike - there was ZERO leg support and very uncomfortable. I ordered a second pair of front seat jackers over BF and got them installed yesterday, I could notice improved comfort just sitting in the driveway!
Great thing to try for additional comfort.

Hey thanks guys. Just bought 2 pairs. They are spendy but considering I do some 2-9 hour road trips weekly, I think it will be worth it.
I'll end up yanking them off and putting them on the next vehicle, whether that's a T4R or a GX. That helps me swallow the price tag.

Hopefully they work as well for you as they have for me! Worst case you could always sell them for a good amount.. I think you'll be happy with them!

The seats are terrible, sit in a Volvo and you’ll see what nice seats are.
But I gave up caring a while back about how bad they are, after I heard about my cousins repair bills on their 2011 Yukon. Same year as mine, same miles.
I love that car but they are over $10,000 in repairs including a new trans, and I am at about $160 in repairs. If you can call it a repair, lubing the prop shafts. Oh and I just had one marker light go out on the front left. 😎. 132,000 miles
If you have power seats jack the front up and lower the back and lay the seatback rest rearward like you are OG, that helps

This gives me full support for my thighs. I'm 5' 11" with a 30" inseam. Don't know if you may find this helpful or not but the suggestion can't hurt.

X2 on all this. I also Deflate the lumbar support. I find that cruise control helps because i can adjust my feet without having to maintain constant contact with the accelerator.

Seat bottoms are too short these days.
They do not meet the back of the knee.
I drive far back, and have an X-Runner which forced me to sit closer to use the clutch, and boy, that was horrible on my spine.
