Great install pics of the 701v springs, and great adventure pics! I have a few questions on you switch from the 677v to 701v. Do you happen to have the rear hub-to-fender height measurements with the 677v and currently with the 701v? I'm trying to decide between the 677v, 701v, and 329. My 4Runner is weighted about the same, so I'd expect similar lift numbers. Ideally I'd like to to go with a variable rate but I don't currently have a long-travel setup and don't want to end up with too much lift. I'm sitting around +620lbs constant unloaded weight which calls for the 701v if I want 3" lift (25" fender-to-hub). I'd like closer to 2.25-2.5". Thinking the 677v might work, but might also be too soft. Otherwise I'll just go with the 329. Thanks in advance for any info!

With the 677v measured roughly 23" from center hub to fender. I found the 677 to be too soft as 1) the rear end squats noticeably upon quick acceleration 2) once I load additional camping gear/equipment, full fuel/water cans, full tank of gas - the rear end sits low and front is nose high. This isn't visually appealing.
Now with the 701v my center hub to fender measurement is 26" and I retain some rake. I've had these coils in for a week now and I don't feel the weight of the rear steel bumper like I did with the 677. My swing-out bumper and full size spare combined is roughly 340# and my rear drawer plus loaded tools bags is 130-140#. This is the weight I carry in the rear at all times. Not including my RTT, full fuel/water cans, hi-lift jack, and camping gear but I believe these 701v coils should handle that additional weight nicely. These coils are still pretty new so it'll settle after a bit more driving.

I have the 701v's on my setup. Right now only a rear cargo platform w/o drawers. I have a dual swing bumper as well. I keep my tools, recovery kit, and ARB jack in the rear cargo area at all times. On a day-to-day basis it rides well. You retain some rake which is preferred. I've had it on for maybe 2 years now. I think initially in the first few months it sat pretty damn high but the springs settled after time. Now the rake is just perfect. From what it was explained to me you don't need a long travel setup to use the 701v's. Your travel will be limited by your shocks, track bars, and links. FWIW I did not install them since I didn't want to deal with compressing these tall and strong springs.
Loaded down with my full camping setup it sits level. If I notice the springs sag anymore over time I'll likely have to get the 749V's but for now they are prefect.
I think you should absolutely get the 701v's at minimum with the constant weight you carry. You'll be happy with them. It'll ride much better, and you won't be hitting your bumps all the time off-road.

Thanks for all the great info, guys! Really helps. It is sounds like the 701v is what I need. 677v for sure is too soft and too low of a spring rate for my weight.I had also misread my RTT weight, so my total constant weight is actually 670 lbs. That does not include 80lbs more on the bumper on trips for water/fuel jerry cans, tools, and camping gear. My trip weight could easily approach 1000 lbs with camping gear, firewood, tools, etc. I do want some rake unloaded so hopefully it will not squat past level when loaded. 701v it is! Thanks again!
