Bilstein 8100...?

I know this has been posted elsewhere and on Bilstein's FB page, but any of you all heard anymore info on these? They are debuting them at SEMA.

No information on the shock itself, but a pretty neat press event as Bilstein is driving their truck off-road from their headquarters in San Diego, completely off-road to SEMA Las Vegas.

Price point? Or is that part of the reveal at SEMA?

Nothing other than the MSRP being double that of the 6112. Will post after the reveal in the desert right before SEMA.

Heres another teaser

Good to have choices.

External reservoir seems to be the new fad.

Which for 95% of people on here (maybe more) it's totally unnecessary. But...yes, options are good. And they look great. But at around $2,200ish seems more form than function if you won't utilize the setup anywhere near its fullest potential.

I mostly run mine as an expedition vehicle, so it's totally unnecessary for me.

I wonder if they'll be installed on a Raptor-like vehicle in the near future.

The ability to rebuild them in your garage is the most appealing aspect to me. If I plan to have my 4R for many years, that's beneficial for sure.

I'd rather not have them. I'm not sure if it's possible but if it is, I'm going to remove my RR's on my Fox 2.5s as part of a rebuild whenever that happens. I have no need for them and they're a PITA because the damn things make noise on the brackets. I jammed a wood shim between the RR and frame rail for about 50 miles of desert driving a few months ago to keep the rattle/squeak at bay. In fox's defense I modified the brackets from an FJ Cruiser to fit a KDSS 4runner. I just don't want or need the RR. They look sexy though.
