I'm still rocking 265's at 2" and have no intention of upsizing in the near future. In fact I just bought my 2nd set of tires this year. This is pre-Bushwacker from early last year.
Would look so much better with 285's...

I went up 3 inches on stock sized tires, and have no real plans to go with a larger tire anytime soon....maybe when this set wears out. Maybe. Main reason for the lift was to get my front end back up after a bumper and winch, and help a little in the mud ruts.
I thought it may look a little funny, but it doesn't really. I'd throw a picture up but Imgur's still down after yesterday.

Yes! Had the same query as the OP. Your photos and Info. were super helpful. Thanks!
2 1/2" Toytec Ultimate with stock sized tires on stock wheels. No speedo corrections needed, no loss in gas mileage, no rubbing. A 285 only gives 1/2" more ground clearance.
I am more interested in the function of the vehicle rather than just looks, but I personally think it looks fine. Most people that see it and comment on it think so also.
I’m running stock sized KO2’s with the Eibach Pro Truck Lift Kit and it sit at 2.75” up front and 1” in the rear. I couldn’t be happier with the look and stance.
