Well... used bumper covers seem to be scarce and when I did find one it was $100 and beat up...which can cause fitment issues with a prototype.

Soooo.. just bought a new one from Durant here in Granbury. Gotta have something to cut on!

Prototype session is still scheduled for this weekend. We just did the 16+ Tacoma test fit and it should be in production in 2 weeks. We anticipate the same deal here, about 60 days from prototype to test fit to production.

Well.... (I'm starting to sound like Reagan) Mother Nature intervened. My Engineer's wife is pregnant with twins, they were scheduled for a C section on the 1st but babies don't understand schedules and have decided they want to be born now so they have the C section tonight and he will obviously be out of commission this weekend and probably for a few weeks. We are moving our shop around the corner next weekend so that is out anyway.

I apologize and hope we can get this scheduled by Mid February and will let you all know when we are back on schedule.

Oh and that's IF my wife doesn't have our boy before it's due date of March 1.... yeah, we have our hands full around here.

Luckily for both of us, these are our last kiddos.

Well, congratulations to both you and your Engineer on the new additions! I am looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with, but family first! Enjoy the little ones, and the new shop!

Thank you, we've both spread our genes for the last time. Mine will arrive on or very close to my 49th birthday so I'm being put out to pasture after this one.

Thank you. We'll get it worked out, regardless it's next on our list.

Finally, we got caught up enough to prototype this last week. This is unlike anything else out there!

I'm not going to post up any proto pics just yet, maybe when we have some finalized CAD next week. I think you guys will REALLY like this one...it's not quite as conservative as our other designs but makes for a super easy installation and yet gives some commonly requested options such as a HiLift jack points, grille and light options, some very new and unique shackle mount/recovery points and even a bottle opener! And yeah... winch mounting for just about any winch.

We have also have our winch control box mounting system that we used on the 16+ Taco.

This one will be a bold statement for sure that will give the 14" 4R's some attitude and certainly worth the wait!

Would be nice to be able to pick up something locally, looking forward to the new design.

IF you're still looking, I'm here in Arlington and only an earshot from you guys. 2017 TRD ORP if you want to experiment!

I'll keep you in mind... you just never know. For now we have someone here locally that can cut loose of it whenever we need it as it's an extra vehicle.

Next on our list will be sliders, skids and link/shock armor.

Our engineer is busy getting our new mount in to CAD and hope to have something in the next week or so. After that it will go to the machine shop for a 'production prototype' and another test fit to see what needs adjustment...always something.

Mine is also an extra vehicle if you need a TRD Pro for something in the future.
