It is a basic model, 4WD, V6, black exterior, tan interior with the third row; and other than basic maintenence, tinting the windows, adding wind deflectors and plasta dipping the chrome it's pretty much standard. Also, it has around 40k in miles.
I want this thing to last a good amount of time but now really want to have fun. The plan is to (no order unless told otherwise) get seat covers and floor matts for inside. New sound system (amp, sub, speakers) with the touch screen in the dash to be able to play videos outside of park. The rest would be a 3"-2.5" lift, shocks, new exhaust muffler, cool air intake, maybe a chip, yakima load warrior roof rack, a bull bar and an LED bar to go behind it so it's between my headlights.
Any product suggestions, order which to do so, and if anyone has a vague idea what that would cost I would greatly appreciate it. I've done some research but even though I can see a price for a certain product I don't know if that would work for me or what else I would buy. I want to make sure everything is compatable. I'm new, and obviuosly never customized a SUV, but when I've taken it fishing or climbing a mountain in the snow I love it. Thanks for your time!

This is a difficult question to answer considering you could buy cheaper or expensive in every category you've listed. I'm going a similar route to what you've stated, minus "performance" mods, and I'm using all of the perceived highest tier level for parts and doing the work myself. I would consider anywhere from 7-10k a pretty good estimate. If you were going to sound deaden and do a total jl audio setup with a high end touch screen you're looking at around 4K alone for that. That's with installing it yourself. Best bet is to read every and all threads that interest you and see what mods are generally accepted as a good result and in line with what you're trying to do. Then hangout and wait for groupbuys and sales. That's what I'm doing and I've saved at least a grand already.
