AOB switch alternatives?

After putting in 4 AOB switches in my car recently I feel they are kind of lame compared to the original Toyota switches when it comes to their illumination. I went with the red (lower) and green (in use) switches. The red light when lit it kind of looks really tacky with the lights falling off towards both ends of the text. It clearly looks like there is a point source of light back there.

The Toyota switches on the other hand have consistent illumination across their labels.

Any other options exist out there? Or should I have chosen different AOB switch options?

I tapped into the accessory fuse for powering these.

Thanks
