Spacers on TRDP

Hey everyone,

Before I get flamed for searching - Yes, I've searched and read the whole TRD Pro lift thread but have a specific question seeing as how most people are opting for the Toytec TRDPro spacers in that thread.

My Nittos are getting close to worn out so I'm going to be getting 275/70/17 tires soon and will probably also be putting some small spacers on as well. I definitely don't want anything like the Toytec TRD kit, so I'm thinking about doing like a 1.5" Revtek spacer on the front and 1" on the back to give me a total of 2.5/1. Has anyone done these specs? I want to know how the ride feels and how compressed the springs are? I had a 2/1 CF on my 2006 and noticed a pretty substantial change in body lean, ride quality, etc. It's not worth it to me if there's a fairly noticeable change since I enjoy my TRD suspension. Thanks in advance for the input!

If thats the route you go, you'll probably want top spacers (that dont compress the spring), like the daystar.

I did a 2"/1" kit from Cornfed & have 285 70 17s with no rubbing on my pro. I don't think the ride changed at all. Picks in my garage

I'm on the fence about the toytec or cornfed, leaning towards the the 2/1 kit mentioned above.

I have a set of 2" rear spacers on the way now from Cornfed. The 2/1 on my TRD looks to me like it has a slight negative rake, & I will be using it loaded quite a bit.

Our dealer does a lot of Revtec spacer kits, I don't know if we did one on a TRD Pro; but the 4Runners with them seem to do okay on the road. Never taken any of them off-road so can't attest performance there.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. From researching, it seems that a total of like 2.5/1 gives a nice even level look and will allow me to clear 275s without modifying. Since the TRD has 1" in the front already, I'm thinking a 1.5/1 with spacers will even it out nicely

I'm only running a cornfed 1 inch front with 285/70, all i had to do was trim the bumper. Suspension feel and performance has not changed at all.

This pic is after adding 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I had to modify the front liners and trim more bumper, but it now it slightly rubs on the body mount.
