Ok - so here's where it get's interesting. A simple manipulation of the numbers says if we keep on this course - 2017 should eclipse 2016 by a large margin and push sales deep into 120k, almost 130k.
That would eclipse any 4th gen sales year and would push 5th Gen Sales past the 4th Gen sales totals, easily. That, assuming Toyota doesn't begin throttling production to appease a transition to the 6th Gen...which by all accounts that I have read on here, isn't going to happen in 2018. 2018 appears to be a 5th Gen model.
