Hi Mike,
I'm interested in a mild lift for my KDSS equipped '21 ORP. The factory rake on mine seems pretty extreme, as in 2.5 inches higher in the rear. For this reason I'm considering just going with C300 front springs and IMS700 struts and see where I end up front to back. I figure I can always work on the rear later if I don't like the stance. Do you have any customers who have done this? If I went this route, would I need to do anything to avoid a leaning situation? The truck is pretty even side to side in stock form.

Hey man. That would work if you totally want to level it. The only issue I could foresee is if you load up the rear, you'll end up with negative rake. I can't think of anyone that has specifically done this, but I know some have with the C59-300 up front only.
You'd have to see if there's a lean after and correct it if necessary, but I doubt there would be if you don't lift the rear.
2.5" of rake sounds pretty extreme. Is there any added weight on the front bringing it down?

No additional weight, and the 2.5 difference has been consistent since I brought it home 4000 miles ago. Do you have the C59-300s and IMS 700s in stock?

Hi mike! Back in may I ordered some coils. I got the c59-302 fronts and c59-325 rears for my 2012 4Runner non-Kdss. I’m also pairing those with bilstein 5100’s and dirt king UCA. I wanted the extra bit of lift, But In order to get it to sit level I had to put the front bilsteins at the highest setting. which meant compressing the front springs quite a bit. The problem is now it rides super stiff and bounces and jerks hitting any bumps on the freeway, which makes it a little sketchy sometimes. I don’t have much weight for add-ons besides a roof rack and rock sliders. My question is, Did I get the correct springs for wanting a more comfortable but off-road capable ride? If not what springs would you recommend to get the same ride height but a more comfortable and safer feeling ride. I was thinking maybe if I went with a 3” front spring and lowered the front bilstein setting it would give me the height and the spring travel I want.

You'd be better off running those 302s at the 1st clip up for 3" then going to a 1" rear coil, the C59-599s. To remove rake completely, the rear has to be lifted 2" less than the front.
5100s shouldn't be used with lifted coils any more than the first clip up. It can damage the strut as well as take away all down travel

I'm looking into updating my Dobinson springs and was looking for some recommendations.
I'm currently running the MRR suspension on my 5th gen, with C59-302 springs (front) and C59-325 (rear). I've added a considerable amount of weight to both ends and will be needing something heavier duty.
On the front end, I have a c4 bumper with high clearance wings and warn winch (182 lbs)
On the rear, I've got a Rigd ultraswing + spare wheel (roughly 115 lbs).
I'm also going to be running a 150 lb RTT pretty much full time as well.
Would C59-352 springs be good for the front?
Someone also recommended Dobinsons 677v for the rear.
What are your thoughts?

Currently running Bilstein 5100s on stock springs, looking to get to about 3" lift on the front, 2"+ on the back.
No winch or extra weight on the front. Tire carrier on the back, no full bumper.
Can you recommend which springs to order? Looking for red.

Yes, the 352 springs would be ideal and you can set at any height from 2-3".
In the back, if you're looking for a full 3" then the 677Vs would also be the best with the weight you'll add on there.

3" up front with stock weight will be the C59-314 springs with the struts set to the lowest clip.
In the back with only a tire carrier, the C59-325 will do the trick.
Both of those are due approximately mid November.

Hi Mike. I have a 2015 limited with leaking XREAS (got 116K miles which seems pretty good). I’m looking to minimally raise it (maybe 1” in the rear) and decrease some of the rake. I don’t have a third row, occasionally tow a 5x8 utility trailer. I do keep a hitch bike rack on but that with the bike is only about 60#. I don’t go off-road other than fire roads and the beach. Thanks very much for your help. Dave

Mike, my rear axle is shifted to the passenger side by about 1/2-3/4”. I watched the video on the adjustable pan hard bar, however, once I adjust it, how would I recenter the axle to bolt this in place?

Some use a ratchet strap from the frame to the axle to get it to pull over the correct amount to get the extended panhard into place. A person simply pushing on the body of the car will normally do the trick as well.

Hey Dave,
Welcome to the forum!!
For what you're describing, and how you use it, most people would lift 2" up front and 1" in the rear. This will reduce the rake by 1", add some height, and not require extra/additional parts. It will also help reduce the nose dive substantially and also help with body roll as well. Also, with the stronger rear spring rate, the 4Runner will tow and carry weight a little easier than with the stock suspension.
It would be these parts:
C59-300 front coils
GS59-700 front struts
C59-599 rear coils
GS59-705 rear shocks
All of that can be put together on this page here:
Dobinsons 1" to 3.5" Build-A-Kit Toyota 4Runner 2010-21 - Exit Offroad
There are a lot of options on that page, but no other parts are required with what I listed above. You can reuse your stock strut mounts and move them onto the new struts if you want.
