What are your hub to fender meaurements? How much difference are you seeing?
Do you have KDSS?
Are there any accessories on your 4runner that are more to one side than the other?

Thanks! I'll email them to see if they have something going on. I was intending to buy it directly from them.

EDIT: Just received a message that they won't be having any specials in the near-term and the best they have right now is a 5% coupon. I'll pass and shop around since I'm in no rush.

Is it possible to order a Monotube setup without the remote reservoir?

Hmmm I dont think so. If you want monotubes without reservoirs check bilstein or icon stage 2. Why dont you want the reservoir?

Actually, Icon stage 2 was exactly what I had in mind. The reason would be to get a monotube shock over the baseline twin tube design but without the RR which i do not foresee needing. I do not intend on going fast over washboards especially for prolonged periods so I don't see fade as a major issue for me and my style of driving that would warrant a RR with its added complexity and cost.

Ahh ok. Main reason Id want the RRs was for the "shorter" size as the nitro charge is in the RR. Don't really need it though as I've been pretty pleased with the dobby twin tubes. Was originally considering the Icon Stage 2s but decided to save a bit and spend the rest on armor. Haven't felt the need for a monotube or feel there would be an improvement for what I drive in (socal lots of visits to death valley). Only thing I'd change is probably the rear shocks but that was me picking the wrong valved shock for the load I carry.

Hope you find a shock that works out great for you!

They make a non res mono tube. It’s called an IFP. I wanted them a year ago but I can’t remember if they didn’t have them in the US or if was the cost.

Thanks man! Those are exactly what I was hoping they carried as an option. I’ll wait for Mike to come back to see if they sell those here, but having gone through quite a bit of this thread,I don’t think many here have had real world experience with this particular set up though I guess the ride (for what I am looking for) would be quite similar to the mono tube RR shocks...

Yes, I can order the non resi monotubes but air freight costs would need to be added. Can quote after the holidays when I'm back .

It's more common to be on the higher side, as 1.5" would be the minimum lift height on a stock model. All lift heights I list are pretty much the minimum lift height you'll get.

Most in the past on here with 505s quote 1.75" lift with stock weight and 1.5" with 100lbs or a 3rd row seat. Hope this helps.
