Having had Total Chaos, JBA, and Dobinson. Dobinson is my favorite since it has the least maintenance and does 95% the same thing as the other two brands.

705s in the rear.
Shabby! Has maybe another inch or so of travel but couldnt get it as I went up the wheel blocks at an odd angle. Any word on a possibly longer shock for those running sonoran steel bars or kdss blocs (whatever they call it)

The 701s are a fraction longer. Post 1 should list the specs i think

3rd row didn't return any search results, so sorry if this has been asked. Has anyone with a 3rd row installed C59-327 rear coils? The 3rd row is 100lbs and I always have some equipment in the back so I'm right around the 200lbs mark, maybe just shy. What would be the real world difference between the 325 and 327 for someone who is right around 200lbs constant load or maybe a little less? Thanks!
(I'm driving on a TRD Pro Bilstein suspension with 2/1.5" CF spacers, which gave me at least a half inch of reverse rake, so I'm debating between swapping the rear spacers out for a 2" ones or just getting rid of the rear spacers and putting a 2" rear coils instead. I haul waverunners a few times a month, and it just looks and feels ridiculous... like I'm trying to take off.)

So I dont plan on adding any weight to the truck, but at times I may need to tow a trailer for trips to home depot, and thinking of getting a boat in the future which I will need to tow. 95% of my driving is on the road and our daily driver, but dont want sag in the rear when towing a trailer or boat. She I good with rear springs in the back for added weight or no weight. I want some rake and then when adding the boat, etc to not be sagging. I dont want to have stiff ride when I am driving without towing anything

People have run those, some even with no weight. Usually guys that load and unload often, or if they tow and need better rear load support for the trailer and its tongue weight. Since you do tow often, the 327 would be a more ideal coil for you.

It would depend on how heavy the tongue weight of the boat is, but if it's really heavy, then airbags inside the coils would be a good way to go. Any added weight on a coil spring causes them to squat, so the only way around that is with added airbags or to use really heavy rate coils that barely squat. Since it's almost always stock weight, you don't want the heavy rate coils.
Choose the coils that match your weight all of the time. If the 4runner is rated to tow whatever, then it will tow it better with any of the Dobinsons coils because they're all a stronger rate than stock.

Thanks Mike! So would the 327 give me a slightly stiffer ride or slightly more lift if I'm at, say, 150lbs over the 325? Or would I not notice much of a difference?

Maybe 2.25" of lift with that weight. Firmer ride, but ride quality mostly comes down to shocks and shock valving at the end of the day. You wouldn't know the difference unless you try and run both to actually see the difference.
If it were mine and I did what you do with it, I'd go with the 327's to have the right support when you need it.

mike: i saw a post today on IG about hydro bumps Dobinsons sells. threaded body for easier adjustment really caught my eye. you have any prices? 2" body with a 2" stroke would be ideal for the front and the rear i saw they have multiple sizes but they're in that funny metric system ;)

Hey man. I haven't been pushing them because you would have to weld brackets into place to hold them. They're not a bolt-on option, and I'd hate for someone to think they could buy them and bolt them on.
EDIT: They're working on a bolt-on rear bracket setup for the rear of popular Toyota and Lexus models. Not for the front though
I'll look up the pricing
Here are the details:
Dobinsons race ready hydraulic bump stops combine an off-road racing inspired triple seal design, a 3mm thick EDP coated steel body and includes interchangeable Rubber or Nylon rod ends to provide smooth, quiet, improved bottom out control during the harshest impacts with the ultimate in quality and longevity. The fully rebuildable and tunable shimmed CNC piston design allows a smooth initial impact with a progressive, velocity-sensitive increase in compression resistance to absorb impacts at the limits of suspension travel, whilst providing rebound damping to slow the bump stop rebound speed and reduce bucking and uncontrolled rebound associated with regular bump stops. Tunable Shim Stacks, Oil Levels and Nitrogen Gas pressures offer unlimited tuning combinations for your 4x4 or Off-road Race Rig to get the very best performance out of your suspension.
FEATURES:
CNC Machined 50/60mm Billet Aluminum Piston
EDP Coated 3mm Thick 56/66mm Steel Body
Threaded Body For Height Adjustment
Supplied with both Interchangeable Super Quiet Rubber Rod End & Hard Nylon
Available in 3 sizes: 56mm body x 50mm stroke, 66mm body x 57mm stroke & 66mm body x 85mm stroke
30/40mm Micro Polished Hard Chrome Shaft
Slow Rebound Valving To Prevent Bucking
Removable Dust Cover Boot For Stealth Appearance
Fully Rebuildable & Tunable
O-Ring Travel Indicator
Heavy Duty Extreme-Race style Triple Seal Design
Nitrogen Gas Charged & Tunable (100 to 300 PSI)
Extra Short Dead Lengths For Compact Fitment
* Threaded Mounting Cans sold separately

yea makes sense
Total chaos has a weld on kit for the rear end, Dirt King told me they have a kit (not on the site yet) for the front. so there would be options to add these for the guys who can weld/have a shop weld for them.

I dug a little deeper.
So there are 3 different sized bump stops made. All are height adjustable
2.2" body is $250 each - made in one length
2.6" body is $300each - made in 2 different lengths (0-4"lift and 4-6" lift)
Weld-on threaded cans to hold them are $30 for the 2.2" and $50 for the 2.6" size, sold as a pair
They are working on a bolt-on rear bracket for 4Runners and Tacomas to use these hydraulic bump stops without needing custom fabrication to get them installed on the rear. No custom brackets for the front though.
I'll be adding them to my site shortly, as the bumps are already in stock in the US

dude awesome thanks. is the rear setup inside the coil spring like the ICON kit or on the outside frame rail? i'd bet the 2.2" ones are ideal for the 4runners.

Probably so, inside the coil, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen the design yet.
Yeah, the 2.2" ones would be good for these.
