13 SR5 rocker panel question

Looking to get a side step for the SR5 and was wondering if any has taken off the rocker cover and bolted up a set of N-Fab's. I'm wondering how it would look without the extra rocker panel delete kit. If anybody has some suggestions lmk.

Or will the newer trail steps bolt on also?

Total newb questions. Lol

I have a 2011 SR5 and I take off my running boards and rocker trim every time I go off road. I have phenomenal ground clearance with them off, but it looks unfinished. The metal isn't smooth and there are exposed plastic bits that are odd colors. I would not be happy if this were the permanent condition.

If you have tools and are somewhat careful there are threads with detailed pics showing how you can cut your rocker plastic to fit things like high-mount sliders or N-Fab steps. Otherwise you'll have to buy the delete kit.

Why? N-fab sells steps that work with the rocker trim now.

I see that. Does anyone have them installed on a lifted runner on 285's? If so can you post a pic.
