Question Cellphone mount recommendations?

Does anyone use a cellphone mount in their truck that you like and that has a good place to attach on a 5th gen?

This has been covered a bunch of times. I'd provide you with links, but I'm on mobile. Using the Google Search bar, try "5th cellphone mounting"

While I'm here, I've been using this mounted on the silver surround on the left side of the radio area. Works great, and I've been using it for months:

Scosche Magic Mount, mounts perfectly on that little flat spot right above the volume nob if you have the entune nav stereo.
Comes with little metal plates that stick to your phone that magnetically (suprisingly strong) stick to the mount.
NOTE: the magnets are inside of the base and are specially designed so they have a short reach, only far enough to get to the plate and not into the phone, incase you're worried about magnets near electronics.

This is what I use. Mounted it on the bottom right of the instrument cluster, that way I can see it easily while I have the torque app running while driving/towing.

I've got this same style, but bought it on ebay:

Magnetic Car Cell Phone Holder Mount Dash 360° Rotating For iPhone GPS Samsung | eBay

I ended up getting 3 of them, as my wife and in-laws wanted one as well. Works great. And cheap! It comes with a double-sided tape to mount the base. I did put down some 3M clear film where the mount would go, just in case there is residue if I ever decide to remove it. But I've tried a lot of mounts, and this one's the best. You do need to put a circular metal plate (very thin) on the back of your phone, but I've got a case, so it wasn't an issue. If you don't have a case on yours, just put some clear film on before taping on the metal plate.

Ram Mount X-Grip all day long. I have a suction cup mount and stick it to the windshield next to the A-Pillar on the drivers side. I run the power from the center counsel next to the shift lever, the steering column and into the phone. Its really pretty clean.

If you have Samsung S7 and enable the voice control camera control you can take selfies while driving hands free by saying 'click'.

Those are some great smiles.

I appreciate everyone's input and pictures. Some great options!

I was thinking of just getting a strap for my leg as that's where I use mine most of the time while (not) driving.
