Little squeak when from the brake pedal

Hey Folks,

I've noticed a squeak (don't know how else to describe it) coming from the brake pedal when I push down on it. Doesn't seem to matter if I go down hard or soft on it. And it's pretty consistent. Have any of you had this happen? Do you know what it is?

It's still under warranty, but I wanted to be educated before I brought it to the dealership. I don't trust dealerships at all.

Thanks,
RS

Almost guarantee you are referring to this: Brake pedal noise

It's normal.

Yes everyone has it, no you CAN NOT fix it. You will get used to it, I had totally forgotten about it until seeing this. Its due to the hydraulic breaking system. Just turn the music up.

It isn't bad enough that things break normally, in Texas they break things hydraulically.

Same noise in my 2016. I didn't really notice it until my buddy with an FJ Trail Team asked if I had a small noise when I press the brake. Seems like it's a cross platform characteristic.
