I'm thinking about doing the 2"/1" as well. Do you still have the factory rack, and if so what's your total height?

What area around Harrisburg and Hershey I’m about hour 15 minutes from Hershey north. I texted you in December never heard from ya. There was a guy selling his brand new Cornfed lift he bought from you. Had some questions.

How are you liking the ridge grapplers as a daily driver? I'm on the highway a lot and am looking into a 285/70. Looks like there is one listed that is not E rated. Getting new wheels probably in 8.5 width.

So far I’m really liking these ridge grapplers. I’ve taken the up to 90mph and runs smooth and no vibrations at all. I drive mostly highway miles and and a few days in the rain.

Hey guys I could use a little help with tires. I recently had the 2/1.5 leveling kit purchased from Jason installed and am wanting to find a good tire and wheel combo that will fit how I use the 4runner. Stock Nitto tire and wheel so far but too me the tires look small. I drive a lot highway and occasional gravel roads and mild fire roads type stuff. I know to get into a 285/70 I would be best to get a wider wheel but really the only reason I would be doing that would be to get something that doesn't look so small on it. I see guys going up to a 285/70 all the time with the stock 17x7 wheels but I don't want to do that, I would purchase new wheel and have ordered a set from FN just won't be in for a while. I've been interested in the Wildpeaks or even Cooper at3, anyone running the highway a lot wild mild off road use have any recommendations?

Hey man, glad to help you out. Doing a 275/70 tire would be a happy medium and will fit no problem. OR, you can still fit 285's with the lift I sold you. It just depends how beefy you want it to look.

Here are 285's on another customers truck, similar to yours.

Enjoy before and afters! Absolute perfection

Now, be care with the WildPeak tires. They run a full size bigger than they list. If you get a wildpeak in a 275, it will be about as big as any other brands 285. Be careful, don't get a wildpeak in a 285 or it will be like a 295, lol.

Burtman Industries 5th gen lifts for sr5, trd pro, etc.

Kits in stock and can be to you door in 2 days. ALso, can do ANY CUSTOM SIZE YOU WANT, call/text 717-319-2100 if you have any other questions.

The Ridge Grapplers look good on there! As far as highway driving how do they compare with the Terra grappler (if you've even had them)? I don't think my stock Terra Grappler is very noisy but they aren't super quiet either.

They run on the larger side of the 285 spectrum but they are by no means a 295. I swapped my 295 Rudge Grapplers for a 285 Wildpeak and hated the look. I went back to a 295 shortly after. I can say the Wildpeak is hands down the best AT tire I have ever personally used. If they came in a 295 I would still have them.

Good to know. I'm probably overthinking it but can you give any feedback or recommendation on tire and wheel weight after jumping up to a larger tire? The wheels I am getting are 23lb 17x8, actually the same wheel you have i believe from FN. In going up to a larger tire did you notice a drop in take off from a stop? I'm probably on the highway 30k a year and know i will take a hit on MPG going up with A/T tires but don't want to drop from 18-19 to like 15.

I bought my 4Runner new and lifted it with 325 miles on it, I have no idea lol. I can tell you with my FX Pro wheels and 295s I am at about 90 pounds per wheel and tire. With the current winter gas, I get about 13.5 mpg average. You will absolutely notice a loss in fuel economy and performance with a larger, heavier, more aggressive tire. Just the way it works, nothing you can do about it.

Burtman Industries leveling kit

I wanted to pass along a BIG thank you to the forum members. I have been monitoring the site soaking up all the knowledge and experience concerning the 4Runner. I have a 2019 Voodoo Blue TRD PRO and have been struggling on what to do regarding lifting it. I did not want to burn $5700, quote I got from a 4wheel shop here locally, to add a ICON Stage 5 suspension to get my desired look. Not off roading this 4Runner right now. I have 2007 Voodoo FJ for that.

I have been following the threads about Burtman Industries for awhile and due to everyone’s overwhelming positive experience and happiness with the outcome, I pulled the trigger and purchased 3/2, UCA, DIFF drop, and Sprint Boost set up. I was AMAZED by Jason’s availability to talk with me. I texted him on a Sunday night at 2200 hours! He responded almost immediately and asked if he could call me! What the hell? What vendor does that? It’s Sunday night! We talked for about 20 mins. I have continued to text him all week, boarder line harassment on my part, and he continues to work with me and answer all my questions.

The plan is to drive up to PA, I live in Maryland, and have a shop he works with to install the lift. Can not wait! More to come.

Are there any warranty concerns doing this to our vehicles? I am sure there is, but wondering f anyone has had issues with the dealer yet. Thanks in advance.
