My TRD Pro Lift
I know there's been a ton of talk about mild lift options for the TRD Pro without giving up the suspension. I did a lot of research and considered doing the 2/2, Toytec, etc. In the end I had Jason Burtman at Burtman Industries make a 1.5/1 spacer lift which I think turned out perfectly. I also threw on some 275/70/17 BFG AT KO2s. There isn't any rubbing and I didn't have to do fender liner mod, cutting or anything else to make them fit.
I think the truck now sits perfect for an everyday vehicle, looks much more aggressive than stock, and also gives me a bit better clearance/approach angles for when I'm out on the dirt.
There is absolutely no change in ride quality, body lean, etc. from the stock setup which was a concern of mine since I really do like how it drives stock. It's a tiny bit bumpier (I'm sure because they are now LT tires) but it's so minimal that it doesn't really make a difference. If you're on the fence about what to do, I think this is a great option.

Reason: Removed the pictures with wrong tires and put new ones with correct sizes

@ bobbyavidity
I was wondering if someone was going to try some of Jasons other options for the TRDP. Thanks for posting up the pics, looks awesome and sounds like the ride is not compromised either. I'm still pondering the toytec 2" or a 2/1.5 from Jason. The C rated Nitto RG I want are 32.76" yours are 32.2" so not a huge difference. Now there is your setup to consider, I'm guessing you went 275 to eliminate the possibility of rubbing? Have you flexed this setup and checked clearances?

Thanks guys! I think with the extra 0.5" (1.5/1) in the front there is still a tiny bit of a rake but i wouldn't say it's noticeable unless you're hypercritical like all of us probably are. 2/1 would probably result in a reverse rake and I think just an all around 2 would still have it. The 2/1.5 would probably work great for your tire setup.
It was just done yesterday so I haven't had a chance to check clearance and flexing yet. I'll update once I get the chance to!

That turned out beautifully. Did you do that yourself or did you buy the parts and have someone else do it for you.. I couldn't tell from your post. Also, where did you get the LED drl's? Those look really sharp. Well done. I'm getting my new TRD Pro in about a month and you're giving me a lot of great ideas.

Thanks! I'm really happy with it. I bought the spacers (Cornfed) from Jason and had them installed when I got my tires put on. The LEDs are made from a guy locally in Orange County. His website is Aiden James Customs
The LEDs are switchbacks too so they're hooked up to my turn signals and flash amber...pretty awesome. His name is Scott. Really helpful if you have questions.

What were the physical sizes of your spacers? .75"F and 1"R?

Do you mind sharing how much it was to install the spacers? (Hours and rate) Did you get an alignment? I'll probably do the install on mine once the weather clears up a bit in March/April, but just weighing my options.

I personally like a little bit of rake like your setup has

I didn't actually measure them but I think that's correct.

They charged me $350 for the install and another $120 for the alignment. I considered finding someone local on the forums that would help on a weekend project for beer and lunch or something but figured I'd just get it done since it was there for tires anyway.

Thanks! I like it too. It's pretty subtle and is pretty close to level so I'm happy with the spacer sizes I chose.

That's because they already did the cutting and moved the fender liner at the port when they added all the TRD Pro stuff.

Nice job, looks amazing! I am going with Corn Fed's 2/2 (which should give me 3 in the front because of the pro's 1inch already from Factory). The awesome thing with the spacers is David from cornfed can custom make the sizes to suit each person's needs. Still debating on what tires to run with that set up. And yes, it's not rubbing since they trim the fender at port when the TRD pro's arrive, I believe they even have a kit they sell at parts department. It seems weird to have a brand new truck that they trimmed upon arrival, but at least it saves me from having to cut into the bumper or mess with the plastic trim.

Yeah it's great how customizable they are! So last night I noticed something that blew my mind. I know what the BFG KO2s look like so I didn't even think to look much past that when I picked up my truck. Last night I noticed that 3 of my tires are 265/70/17 and one of them (rear driver's side) is a 275/70/16 which is what I ordered and paid for. I have to call them this morning to get it fixed. I just can't believe that this could even happen hahaha. Most people probably wouldn't have ever noticed and driven around for years with different tires...I'll never be going back to this place. The only reason I actually went here is because I had $170 in store credit from when they blew out my original LED bezels during installation and refused to give me my money back. Strike two.
I'll post some updated pics when I have it fixed.
