Blowout on the Highway in Montana
First road trip with our week old son, Wes, and he was the one with a blowout on the highway. So, yeah the back gate serves as a great changing table.

In my first 5th gen, my wife and I were heading to the grocery store with my 1 year old daughter in the back. I see her hands waving in the rear view mirror and some brown substance. I hit the next rest stop and sacrificed my truck blanket (old fleece blanket that I kept in the back to keep bikes and other cargo from messing up the interior) to clean up the poop that was EVERYWHERE. I shoved the blanket in a trash can at the rest stop.

There will be more of those to come, unfortunately. The poop isn't that bad at this stage. When they turn 1... it's hideous. I thought as time went on I would get a higher threshold for poop. It's actually gone down at a near exponential rate.

Just wait, it gets even better!
...because you're camping at Bridgeport with your wife, three children, two dogs, and cat, and something sweeps thru camp. And it's in the low 20's, as one by one, all night, you each take your turn puking and crapping. You have to unzip your children from their onesies and pour the crap out of the foot compartments, then clean, etc. Meanwhile holding in your own reflexes.
We woke up to a horrible campsite. I did what I could, but I still feel guilty. The dogs helped with the puke anyway. And I snuck a lot of the soiled trash into our friend's motorcyle panniers.
It was an AWESOME trip! Kids totally make camping more fun, congratulations!

Amen to that
I hold my breath until the change is done and I'm quite sure I can beat David Blaine at an underwater contest thing at this point.
