Does your dealer charge for the "additional" service on regular service intervals?

On the maintenance schedule that came with the car, it has a normal schedule and then "additional" items that it says should be done if you drive on a lot of dirt or dusty roads (things like lubing the prop shaft or changing the engine oil earlier than otherwise suggested). If you have you dealer do these things, I've got two questions ,

1) Do they give you a hard time about it?
2) Do they charge extra for it?

Just curious ...

My local dealer is always clueless about the additional maintenance items.
I even show them the book and they act like I make it up.
Sometimes they say they do it, and other times they say they don't and will need to charge for it.

I need to know who the best dealer is in the Denver area

The info that I got at purchase clearly says those additional items are not included in the provided 2 yr service. And the info was a Toyota brochure, not something from the dealer.

Mine charged me cost (i think it was $10 or $15) for an extra oil change, the prop shaft they did not charge for

You have to be very clear and specific with the service adviser and double check before you pick up your vehicle

It's not included in the 24 month service
