2 unrelated things: New lift & red battery light!

Got the new lift put on this weekend and took her out wheeling the day after. The difference is night and day. Love how it rides now, and the extra clearance allowed me to clear things I was scraping through before.

Bilstein 6112/5100 w Wheeler T13 springs.

Now the bad news! This morning I noticed my battery light is all lit up. Took the battery to Autozone and it wouldn't charge, so I got a new one. Battery light is still on. From the research I've done on it, looks like the light comes on when it's not receiving a charge, so could be a lot of small things or a bad alternator. Took it to a local shop to have them diagnose.

Here are some pics of the new lift after playing.

Good ol Bridgeport! My guess would be the alternator might went bad or something got into it that cause the light. Can always get a voltmeter and check if you have proper voltage coming out the alternator. If not, then its bad.

Getting it tested now, possible that the excessive flow of mud did something.
Bridgeport is always a blast, but with the lift it was more fun than ever.

We need to get a Toyota Day out there!

I avoid mud lol, too much cleaning... Me and a few other people are going to Gilmer in May for our yearly spring break off road meet if you're interested.

Oh man, I've been wanting to meet up with you SoftRoader guys! Looks like you have a good time. If I weren't already out of town that weekend, I would be there.

if you can't make it that weekend, we have another event plan. We're planning a brewery tour in Hill country.
