Dead horse..

Anybody running a -6mm on an 8.5 or 9" rim ever have issues with tire rub? I'm gunna go to with 275s

It might. 9" will push the CL of tire out 3/4" or so from existing. Plus you get a whopping 1/4" more ground clearance. Nothing that can't be modded.

Yeah I mean for the record.. I titled the post "dead horse" so y'all fellers that have been around a minute would know clicking was at your own risk..

There are all these explanations of back space and off set and the it may or may not rub convos... I feel like i've dug through 100s of pages.. I'm more than positive somebody has this set up however I don't remember crossing a post saying they have it. There are always lil variances, mainly the use of 285 over 275 tires.. so I threw out the question. The rim I'm looking at is 8.5 and a -6 offset..

I gave you an answer above. During your research you must of missed my 100 posts explaining why all 4runners are a bit different and why identical 4runners with the same mods might or might not rub.
