Question Trd pro 17-in. Matte black alloy wheel - toyota (ptr2035110bk)

Hopefully this thread doesn't get closed by the man before some questions are answered.

Appear TRD PRO 17-IN. MATTE BLACK ALLOY WHEEL - TOYOTA (PTR2035110BK) are no longer available for purchase. This is starting to appear on some Toyota dealers pages:
"TRD PRO 17-IN. MATTE BLACK ALLOY WHEEL - TOYOTA (PTR2035110BK)
NOT FOR SALE
No Longer Available For Purchase"

Can someone tell me if the following is true?
FN rims are similar but are 8" wide instead of the 7" of the TRD rims.
Center caps of the TRD will fit the FN rims, correct?
FN are still available, correct?

I'm sticking with OEM tire sizes. The OEM tire sizes will fit the 8" rims, correct?
If any member wants to sell their TRD PRO 17-IN. MATTE BLACK ALLOY RIMS, please shoot me a PM.

Your question was answered in the other thread.

If this thread turns into a bash or butt hurt thread I will close it just like I did the other one.

With all due respect, someone with more knowledge than me can answer these question in a few seconds. Plus "FN are still available, correct?" is time sensitive. I intentionally made the questions yes/no so as to make this easy for someone.

A lot of people throughout my life took time out of their day to answer my questions. Many of these individuals have since passed. Out of my respect to them, I always try to answer someone's question in the same deliberate fashion they did. Never understood "Your question was answered in the other thread." Again, with all do respect. I am a technician who worked with engineers most of my life. 1engineer, I enjoy your well thought out replies. Just don't understand your reply.

FN is still available. TRD center caps don't fit, but Dustin has TRD center cap options for you. The 8" will work with stock sized 265's.

FN's are lighter and a better choice.

GO!

He is saying the answers to your questions have been answered already in another thread which I assume got deleted. As for your questions about the wheels, Yes, yes and yes. And dealers are only selling the wheels if you own a PRO. They will ask for VIN number to verify. I'm sure if you look around enough, you can find them.

As for your other question, read here...

Agree. FN is lighter, wider which means you can fit larger tires within spec, and more colors available.

I think this is the related thread that was referred to (from yesterday):

Black TRD PRO Wheel: PTR2035110BK DISCONTINUED?

I will have to say, reading it over again, that there are a lot of words that are less than "informational".

I was looking at TRD Pro wheels a couple of weeks ago and started running into this sudden lack of availability for the black ones, as well as a dwindling supply of the gray ones. And now I'm over it.

I ran into something similar on a 3rd generation part. You could order the part (mud guard) but the part was discontinued. I was able to order the part from some dealers but eventually those dealers said the part was discontinued.

FWIW- My local dealer said they were not being discontinued but rather on a "sales hold" till Toyota can build up enough stock again. Right now they are really low (cause the wheels are awesome) and have to only allow sales to actual pro owners for replacement/repair and for insurance claims/repairs. He said around May/June things should be back to normal.

We'll see how it all pans out.
