1. Salex Organizer (Glove Box only; still waiting to see if I'm going to get a Console Vault. If not, I'll get the Salex OCD console organizer as well). Make sure to use the Amazon Code OCDSALEX for a discount. Less than $20.
Link: https://www.amazon.com/Vehicle-Organ...alex+glove+box
2. HID light kit from XENON Depot w/ Philips 4300K upgrade. I also added the following Philips Vision replacement LED bulbs: map lights, dome light, and license plate lights. I considered upgrading all interior halogen bulbs to LED, but for minimal expense with biggest impact I settled on what I listed above. And of course, there is a coupon code for 20% off: SS20. Less than $200.

3. OEM All Weather Floor Liners Black (PT908-89160-02). I debated between Weathertech and Husky, read several threads, and even watched some YouTube videos. In the end it came down to fit, I like the way the OEM mats fit versus the aftermarket solutions. If you don't plan on having mud or water pool inside the vehicle, this may be a factor for your decision (I needed better protection than carpet, but not the extreme protection of Weathertech or Husky). Less than $120.

6. CANVASBACK cargo liner. I have a dog, so this was a must have. This set gets great reviews on the forum, which is where I found out about them. $169 shipped.
Link: Toyota 4Runner Cargo Liners | Canvasback.com
7. Toyota 4Runner Owners Manual. If you already know your VIN number, you can register it on the Toyota Owners website. This is FREE, and I guess would fall under the category of making your 4Runner easier to work on.

Also on the cheap side, matching front window tint will be one of the first things I do when I take delivery. Should run around $80. Another option would be to tint the front windshield with Llumar Air Blue 80; it won't make the window any darker (you wouldn't want to anyway), but it will protect you and your dash from UV rays.

Tremendous reponse! Good to know I'm not alone in this tortuously slow boat waiting for my baby! I have quite a few questions and I'm hoping I'm lucky enough that you will address them all!
1) Aren't you concerned with the glove box organizer from preventing you from storing an owners manual, or any manuals at all for that matter?
2) I have heard that cars built with halogen headlight housings are not meant to be converted to HIDs, and in fact it can be illegal to do so. What are your thoughts on all of this, and why do you think in 2017 Toyota is still not using HIDs on a 4runner? Some benefit to a halogen maybe?
3) I think I might agree and opted for the OEM floor mats as well. We'll see how it goes! And I am a dog owner and plan on the canvas back cargo liners as well, despite the price...Just have to decide on a color...I noticed one of the responders here said black, but that seems like it would show dirt the easiest.
4) Regarding the owners manual, is this just something you can view online? Or is there a way for them to send an actual manual to you? I would have thought one would be included in the truck....
5) Regarding the window tint, you say "front windows". Do the rear windows come pre-tinted, and in that case, is the $100 "deal" this guy at the dealership offered me a rip-off?

On the tint. It really depends where you live. Here in CO no dealer will do darker than 50% for legal reasons. I wanted my front windows to match the rear factory tint. This means it has to be around 25ish%. $100 seems abiut right from a dealer. Yes it's over priced and there is a good chance you won't get the darkness you want.
I would suggest talking to someone in service. Find younger kid and ask some random question about tire pressure or tire rotation. Then explain you are looking for tint but don't want to deal with the sales muckitity mucks. Say you are looking for a cash deal with someone good. They should be able to hook you up.
On my TRDORP my used a new 25% that just came out. From the outside it matches perfectly. Front the inside it's light enough still see out in a dark parking lot.
The guy I used works for a Lexus dealership in Denver. He did the work at his house on a sat morning. I send him referrals when I can.

Owners manual comes with the truck man.
There are no "must have" cheap or even expensive mods. Get it, drive it, enjoy it. It will take you places your courage won't.

Wonder if it fits 2014-2015, site says only 2016-2017.

|
- Not really. Check out the first post of this link for an idea of what you'll be able to fit: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-ge...organizer.html

|
- For a reflector housing yes, for a projector housing like the 4Runner has: we'll see. There are several forum members using the kit successfully, so I decided I'd give it a try. I've had upgraded HID/LED lights in the past and have had no issues from authorities.

- I went with black to match the interior. When it shows dirt, even better! Time to clean.

- Once you log on to Toyota Owners, you'll be able to view the PDF online. One should be included in the truck, but I haven't taken delivery yet. It's good reading material while I wait.

- IMO $80-$100 is reasonable for the front windows (especially from the dealership since they will generally outsource it to a tint shop). Yes, the rear windows are pre-tinted.

I've had my '17 off road premium for about 6 weeks now.
"Trunk" organizer was one of my first purchases.
Nothing worse than getting home from the store to discover that all your stuff has shifted up against the rear door and is going to fall into the street as soon as you open it.
This one is inexpensive and folds up for easy under seat storage when not in use.

I love the set in my '17 TRDORP! They have been awesome all ski season.
If they do I'll buy a set for my girlfriend's '15 limited. I'll have to do a little mat swap tomorrow and see if they fit. Her all weather mats are horrible. That's a great price.

Haha! I bought two, but not the PC version. Wasn't sure I'd like the porting....and don't know anyone that has one to try.
