How informed has the dealer kept you as far as the order? I "ordered" mine in late February and was told an eta of April 15-20. I asked the guy I was dealing with last week if there was any update and he said not yet....im kind of worried

Here are two pictures of my tint. I didn't get the brand but it's 25% and came out about 6 months ago. It wasn't a new company just a new product from a current company. On a side note ... that is not me walking by the 4Runner and I'm not sure why he's wearing sunglasses in a snow storm :/

I also have a TRDORP .. solid choice ... Must have (Cheap) accessories for your new 4runner!

- diode Dynamics tail as fun module. $40 and very sweet.
- JDMAster 1000 lumens 921 led backup bulbs about $25
- clear bra installed from a local guy and not the dealership. I paid about $250 for 18in on the hood, head lights, fronts of the quarter panels, door edges, behind door handles and on the fronts on the mirrors.
- tint the front driver passenger windows form the same guy that did the clear bra $75.
- ram x-grip suction cup mount with medium arm. About $40 from Amazon.
- canvas back trunk liner set. OMG $160 and worth every penny. The black looks amazing and it completely saves the back from my lab mix and bloodhound mix.
- H9 bulbs in the headlights. $20-40 if you get the adaptor harnesses.
- XD HID for headlights around $200. Maybe maybe not for me.
- DDM Tuning Saber 40w LED 9005 bulbs for high beams. Around $100 with shipping.
- 3rd break light flasher. $15 on Amazon.

Sorry I didn't add any links. It's to much of a pain on my phone. All these I'm either doing or have done.

Does anyone have first hand experience with this module? Do the brake lights work at the same time as the turn signal

I have the module installed and it works just like the video on their website. Think of being behind an Audi or BMW. If you are on the brakes on the all three lights are bright. If you have the brake and left blinker on, the 3rd and right tail light are bright and solid on. The left tail light blinks.

I wouldn't suggest buying LED bulbs form DD. They are over priced. JDMAster is way cheaper and put out more lumens.

I have not done the second backup light. I'm going to at some point, but I'm looking at some creative options for the old turn signal socket.

Nite Ize also makes a vent clip version, which is nice if you have multiple rigs, or if you don't want to use adhesive on your dash. I have found the magnet on the back of the phone is very handy as well!

I just picked up my Runner a few weeks ago and here is the list of mods I've done:
  1. Saber LEDs from DDM Tuning for the DRL/Highs
  2. Xenon Depot Philips HID kit 4300K
  3. White LED bulbs to replace reverse and license plate lights
  4. Focal IS 690TOY component speakers to replace the horrible stockies in the front
  5. Dynamat front doors

Likely will also add a sub and get some tint for the front windows sometime soon.

Rear Storage - blunt force (see Antman's thread for most of these)
De-badge all unneeded emblems (best to do this early for exposure issues)
Rear bumper cup holder
Plasti-dip front and rear emblems
Fire extinguisher
Washers under the front seat posts to change the angle of the seat (Personal comfort)
Drop in K&N air filter
TRD Oil and radiator caps
First Aid Kit
Husky or Weather tech floor mats (Spend the money)
LED Interior swap (some exterior options with this in some bundles)

Sorry for any repeats...this is off the top of my head.

I went with the Marine 10 inch Bazooka pre-amped sub. For the money, it's the cheapest quick bass option and it will kick you senseless if tuned correctly. You can turn them up or down to suit your preference. It sounds great with all music, I listen to mostly death metal, rap/hip hop, bluegrass and country (old country). Yea, I know my music choices are all over the place, lol. The Marine is a bit more pricey than the non version, but I abuse stuff and went with it for that reason. It takes up minimal space, can be mounted on the rear wheel "hump" and is removable with two easy clips. Worth a look...enjoy.

Every week and a half or so (whenever there is a change) the dealer sends me a screen shot of the dealer daily update. This shows the following information:

- Production Date
- Vessel Departure
- Vessel Arrival
- Plant/Port Process
- Rail Departure
- Rail Arrival
- Shipment to Dealer
- Dealer Arrival

Were these plug and play? Cost? Any tweaks needed to get them to work properly with head unit (JL CleanSweep) or amp required?

I see most everyone suggesting the WeatherTech mats but I've been very happy with the Toyota factory liners (not mats). I have had WTs for my wife's Yukon and we sent them back. Fronts were okay but rear was awful and thin. Just my experience and another option though. My dealer threw them in at no cost to me.

I got Husky as I liked the coverage better as well as the spikes on the bottom to keep them in place (vs WeatherTech). I've been overwhelmingly pleased with them. Glad OEM products are starting to catch up though. They are missing out on a lot of high-margin items.
