I've talked with them and vendors who deal with them at volume. They say soon... very soon. I think it will finally happen, but I will believe it when I see it.
I would not be surprised if this thread gets closed. For some reason... the subject seems to anger people. I don't know why because these trucks would definitely benefit from a little bump in power and drivability....

People get upset about this because it has been a White Whale since the 5th gen was announced. TRD teased, and teased, and promised, and showed a demo, then canned the entire program.

Raise your hand if you think it'll be anywhere even remotely close to the $4,140 Toyota used to charge for a supercharger kit...
The problem is that there's no market. I can trade down ($ wise) to a GX460 with a V8 today if I really wanted more power. The supercharger will be about 305hp 335tq. The GX is 301-329. I can't make any rational argument for supercharger over just buying a GX.

Amen to that. A bit of pep down low is really all this engine really needs. Its a good engine with plenty of power. The only thing is it so far up the powerband that I feel like an idiot when I decide to use it. Overtaking someone with the engine screaming at 4.5k is not my favorite part of owning this truck.

Just like there is no market for a snorkle for the 5th gen... right LOL. Funny they can't make them fast enough....
35hp out of a supercharger? That is beyond conservative. I would guess 330hp at a minumum.. probably closer to 350 and it would drive much better than that na v8.
Also the 1grfe dual vvti motor, is used all over the world... There seems to be a huge market. Will it be reliable with the pistons and rods is the question.

No idea what they will charge I remember hearing numbers like $8k years ago. I think there is a market for them, particularly with so many units being sold.
I kinda like the GX series. Yeah they are a little funky. It is nice to see folks out there building them up.

Ugly is such a harsh word, more fugly, freaky ugly is okay I wouldn't turn one away. The only thing I really don't like about them is the swing gate, I like the 5th gen lift gate much better.

If it couldn't be in the 330 hp range, it's a waste.
Then again...$8k would not be something I'd consider either. Sorry, I'll deal with it being a bit slow as long as the thing is reliable.
My wife might think different though and if it was a 330 hp at $4200 like the TRD unit used to be,
