3-wheeling

Anyone ever lift a front tire, on pavement, while making a sharp turn? I was turning for an emergency BBQ stop and saw a break in traffic. From a stop, I punched it as I turned. I felt the front lift and thought it was unusually high for just unweighting the front end and it just kept climbing, until I let off and felt the driver side tire touch back down. You can see in the pic that I'm loaded down pretty good in the ass end, but that caught me off guard. I've only done that in a Jeep.

I understand your rear end heavy which changes things greatly but as a smart a** statement I will say unless someones life is on the line I don't drive in a manner in which that would ever happen........

I will say I am shock that from a stop by simply cutting sharp and gassing it you were able to lift a front wheel

You're right about that, I'm going to use a bit more caution in that situation, and others too. I was pretty shocked myself! Good traction and the right weight in the wrong place I guess. Wonder how that looked to the oncoming traffic?!

Entirely possible with that load out. The rear sway bar is considerably lighter than the front, and the front has less up/down travel than the rear axle. When they shot the roll out for the TRD Pro's commercial in the desert a couple years ago with the NASCAR drivers one of them was getting air under the front wheel doing hard turns in the dunes.

We were really hungry, so it was definitely a code 3 hunger emergency, plus Mission St. BBQ got great reviews!
