HeHe. I am so glad I helped everyone with this thread. My setup has been flawless and I still stand behind the simple shock boot to protect the shaft.

No current pics. The pretty blue is completely destroyed from trail sand/rocks flinging from the front tire and sand blasting the rear lower shock mount, but that is what it is there for. The cheap shock boot looks just like it did when I installed it with zip tie. The whole setup is totally functional and protecting the expense King shock.

Bringing up an older thread.
I took some pics in to my local install shop and they were hesitant/unwilling to install shock skids due to attaching to the rod end. Any issues with screwing in? Was a longer screw required?
