These will maintain at least 2.5" with the weight you're going to have on a 5th Gen. They do handle regular cargo weight very well, considering the final spring rate isn't super firm.

I'm hoping to get some help on my 5th gen 4Runner. I just ordered the 677v rear springs and the long travel shocks. But the more I'm reading the more I think I should have gotten the 675v springs instead. Here is the current setup I'm running:
NguyenWorks rear bumper with a single swing arm - ~150lbs
Full size 34" spare tire - ~90lbs
Full Length Prinsu roof rack
Occasionally use my RTT ~150lbs (3-4 times a year, otherwise it's not installed)
Daily drive with no gear in the back either.
Full set of Aluminum skids - Gas tank skid ~50lbs.
Steel Sliders ~100lbs (not sure how much of that weight is supported by the rear springs though).
Do I have enough constant weight to justify the 677v springs? Or should I cancel them and get the 675v springs?

There's not a lot of difference between the 2 springs, but you'd have found that with the 675V and when you've got the tent on and loaded for a trip, you'd lose a bit of height and those wouldn't be supporting it as well. The 677V's would still be my suggestion, as you've got ~240lbs hanging off the back end and that's all leverage on the suspension.

@ Crikeymike
hoping to get some help as well and I almost have the same setup as T4R_DP
Just bought a Nguyen Dual Swing Rear bumper and preparing myself to upgrade my rear swings for any rake/sag.
5th gen 4runner kings all around not long travel.
NguyenWorks rear bumper dual swing arm - ~170lbs
Full size 34" spare tire - ~90lbs
Full Length Prinsu roof rack ~ 50lbs (earlier post i read should cut that weight in half so 25?)
Roofnest RTT always on ~160lbs
Drawer sysetm ~ 130lbs
Full set of Aluminum skids - Gas tank skid ~50lbs.
Steel Sliders ~100lbs (not sure how much of that weight is supported by the rear springs though).
Looking to keep a 3" lift all around. what should i go for? Should I go for c59-701v or c59-329 since i dont have long travel suspensions?

Hey man.
You'd need the C59-701V if you want 3", but can the Kings handle that lift height? Otherwise you'd need C59-329's which are 2" with all that weight.

You'll have to pull the part number from them and check with Kings what the length is, or for what lift height they're suitable for.

Expert idiot checking in
try to stick at 2" rear lift max. if the front is too high, adjust it down, king coilovers like to be at the 1.5-2" setting anyways. you can add a coachbuilder shim to get another .5" of lift though (assuming the UCA's can handle the extra droop
mike knows his stuff even tho his suggestion seems wicked stifffffff.
the only weight really on the rear axle is the storage, bumper, swing outs. everything else is split on the axles. so 330lbs is on/behind the rear axle
Dobinsons Rear Coil Springs for Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser(C59-327) – Dobinsons Direct
thoughts mike? thats how i'd do it. (says mike knows his stuff, goes on to disagree lmao) yes, those are 2.5" springs but if youre heavier, itll settle down right at 2" ;)

All good points.
Just that most of the time when I'm selling the C59-329's, it's because the guy already has 327's and they need a little extra support. The spring rate difference between the 2 isn't that much.
That combination of roof rack, 160LB RTT always on, 270LB rear bumper with spare, plus drawers would squat those 327's down a good bit.
