It's cheaper for me to buy a no mile / low mile set of take offs

Trail rims and tires than to buy new tires from a tire shop.

Constantly see ads on CL for rim / tire packages here in Denver in the $500-$700 range.

At this rate I can't justify new rims / tires / lift with my 70mi commute and these take off prices.

I did this several cars ago w/ my Scion tC. Had a guy ship a set of rims/takeoffs from Texas to Pennsylvania and it was still (much) cheaper than new tires including the re-mounting/balancing of the shipped tires.

Later sold the rims when I sold my tC for almost close to what I paid for everything.

"Cheap" never enters my equation when buying tires. I'll conserve lots of places, but not on the only thing connecting me to earth at 80 mph, wet or dry.

But that's not really applicable here as this is an OEM part that I'm finding with little to no miles.

Cheap implies low quality, inexpensive is probably the word that should have been used.

I have bought take offs for years, I burn through tires on my work truck, can buy a set of take off's with wheels for 800/900, new would be 1200 tires only, I sell my old wheels and tires for 300/400 bringing the cost way down
