Iv'e done my first mod. Rear diff breather. I extended it up into the engine bay, and will be tapping the rear locker the new line as well.
I used the 90404-51319 toyota union for the diff and the 90930-03136 toyota breather. I bought 15 ft of 5/16 fuel line and some zip ties.
I ran the new line along another preexisting line, I'm not sure what it was though. I also left a good 2 ft of line give or take coiled up over the rear diff to allow for articulation without damaging the new breather line.
Here are some pictures, the arrow will point from the new breather to the diff.
how much slack do you need to leave at the rear diff?

Just jack up the truck (not by the diff, obviously) so the rear wheels are off the ground and make the line long enough so you still have just a little slack. Or just leave a couple of feet.
