One negative to the sso is I'd still need to paint them.
Any opinions between the two?

That rear bump out makes a handy step for access to the roof. I have a set of Shrockworks and they have held up very well for going on 3 years now. I want a set of the SSO's because I like the look, SSO has already got a great rep from their Slimline Hybrid bumpers (I have one of the first), And they are a great company to deal with.
The no paint option has a little history. The largest complaint they have received over the years is the powder coat being scratched up on delivery. Unfortunately most of that is out of their hands and in the shippers. So they decided to stop offering any coating. I had the same problem with my CBI bumper on delivery last year. CBI had obviously made a large effort to protect all the corners and protruding parts but the shipper still managed to ding up several spots. I simply fixed it with touchup paint at home instead of fighting with the shipper about it. If you're in or near a large metropolitan area you should have no problem finding a powder coating company nearby. You might even look and get an estimate before you drop the dime. Just my 2 cents.
