UPDATE
All of those who were chosen were notified of being chosen and the process is underway. Some have already received/picked up their kits and some will be sent soon. I will continue to post here with updated information on my experience and those that have been chosen, who are on here, may utilize it as well or create their own. I want to say congrats to those that were picked and I can't wait to see them installed and the experiences you have during that initial drive. For those that want to see the kit in person, the truck will be at the Lucas Oil Off Road Expo in Pomona, CA this weekend, Sep 30 and Oct 1, at the Magnuson Superchargers booth. Come say hello, the show is a great time.

It has just been announced as of a few minutes ago, that the opportunity to get your email in to receive the application is closing soon. If you haven't signed up yet, please do. Once it is closed, applications will be getting sent out for all to fill out for their chance to be chosen. More information regarding the kit is going to be coming out over the next few days. I know that is kit is overdue and not much info has been released but please understand that this kit has been a long time coming and with TRD no longer around, it needed to get refreshed. I do not work for Magnuson, I only am helping out with getting the word out and get y'all as much info as possible as soon as possible. Numbers and pricing very soon. The test vehicle (2017 SR5) is back on the dyno to finalize. The XX amount of units for the pilot program are almost complete. I am starting this thread to relay and all information for the supercharger system for the 2010-Present 4Runner and the 2010-2014 FJ Cruiser from Magnuson Superchargers. They are currently taking in submissions for their Pilot program. If you haven't submitted your email yet, please go to this link and do so. Link: Magnuson News
After submitting your email, stand by for the application to be sent your way to submit all info regarding your rig and to possibly be selected as a member of the very limited run of systems for the pilot program. They will also be specially discounted for those selected. I am here to answer any questions with all info that I currently have. HP/TQ numbers will be coming soon. Price will follow soon after. Please be patient with the applications being sent out and for the other information to flow through.

I have been following this on instagram and an excited to finally see something come to market. Just crossing my fingers that the numbers look good and I don't need to sell my left leg to afford it

As instructions stated above, the link brings you to the newsletter sign up. You submit your email for them to send you the application. Once you receive and submit said application, you will be entered into the pilot program group. Magnuson will pick a very limited amount of 4Runner and FJ owners to receive the first XX amount prior to full release. ALso stated above, be patient for the application, it will be sent when Magnuson is ready. But I can say that that moment is sooner than you think

The numbers are good and the price will be too. You get exactly what you pay for. Night and day difference in vehicle response.

What is the impact of the Toyota warranty?

Sure would be nice to choose some of us that provided scanned vehicle data at FJ Summit this year...hint hint...me..."cough cough"...me again!

A few were scanned while up there and that is awesome you got yours scanned. We shall see what happens It is a very limited amount but they will be picking a mixture of years mentioned above between the 4R and FJ. Fingers crossed

That is a discussion to be had with your local dealership. Since this isnt a TRD product this go around I cant 100% answer that. I have seen some delaerships maintain warranty with aftermarket parts if installed by them. Maybe a route to go? Im sure we will get more info once full release to public begins. I wouldnt be surprised if dealerships start putting them in their parts floor. Ya never know.

Boost level?

What about fuel - What tuning is done? I mean more than "we flash your ECU" - what are you actually doing to the fuel map, did you break the encryption or get access from Toyota? Is there already an OEM fuel map for boost you just access or did you re-write it? Is it closed loop dynamic learning still? What kind of AFR are you seeing at half and full throttle?

Does the tune increase redline?

When you get hp numbers - 2500rpm hp is far more important than 6,000 rpm hp. Can you get an accurate measurement at say 1500 and 2500 rpms?

Does the tune change throttle input and/or shift points?

Does it play nice with crawl control?

In 4lo the throttle map changes and the idle rpm in gear goes up - does this still play nice for rock crawling with those changes?

It looks like it uses an auxiliary radiator for the intercooler rather than the OEM cooling system. Is that correct? If so where does the intercooler radiator live? Specifically does it interfere with our winches (in front of the lower center of the radiator) or have an issue with air flow for folks with winches? Same question for transmission coolers. Basically - where do you mount the radiator and how is it mounted?
