Shrockworks bumper + 12k lbs winch?

Hello there!
Need help which 12k lbs winch can fit in a shrockworks bumper? I have shrockworks front/rear bumper with tire carrier, and sliders. I also have a gobi rack, and soon dual battery and refrigerator. I also have a drawer system hence the 12k lbs winch.

I emailed shockworks and they recomend the 9.5k lbs winch which is not enough. I also use the search button and i did not get a definite answer.
Thanks.

you need to verify with Shrockworks that their winch plate is capable of that level of sheer load.i don't see why it wouldn't be but that would be your primary hold up.

the 9.5 and 12k winches use the same mounting points, its just that their bodies are larger due to a larger motor and planetary set.i know for a fact that the warn zeon 12 will fit

Have you had issues in the past with stalling a winch? On my trail rigs I've done it many times - but never on my 5th gen. Usually it's due to either low battery after multiple consecutive pulls, overheating, or using the first wrap of winch rope. If not a snatch block will double your net force and pull more line off the spool so you'll have better mechanical advantage as well. I think a 9500lb winch should get you out of just about anywhere you can get to in a 5th gen. If not one of these should do the trick - and save you a bit of $. Plus it's something you should have in your kit anyway:

Second the above, a 9.5k winch with the proper recovery gear will do just fine...

I've never seen a situation where a bigger winch would help. Just my experience. It's either any winch will do, or no winch will do......

Also, if you really need a 12k winch. you have bigger problems and will be breaking parts all the time and have overall shit performance out of your truck.

9.5 or really 9k winch is all that should ever be needed on a 5th gen. If you need more.. you are over the safe payload of the platform. A 8klb 5th gen is scary... That is what a 12k winch is sized for....

clearly you have never had to recover a deuce and a half from the place where it finally got stuck.

Does anybody know if the Warn VR-12S would fit in the ARB? Or know of what sizes fit in the ARB?
According to ARB they have test fitted only these- Warn 9.5XP, HS9500, XD9000.
