Aiden James Customs - Anyone heard from them lately?

I ordered some light a while back and been waiting on them forever. Sent emails with no replies, facebook messages ignored and 8 days ago I was sent a tracking # that has not yet registered.



Not the type to blast anyone online but damn I think I been more than patient. Trying to see if maybe someone here knows him personally and can maybe ping him to the situation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was about to buy that same kit a while back, it looks really good. I think I have too much light coming off the front of my truck as it is though. That's way too long of a time to have someone holding your money without any feedback. Try messaging him on here, he's gotten back to me before pretty quickly.

Had an issue with my LEDs, they were very responsive to help and offer a solution. However, I too have written them 6 times. The first 3 emails were answered, the next 3 have not been answered for just over a week. I chalk it up to end of season vacation. I will give them to mid next week and then initiate a paypal and CC dispute.

Hello all! I am Scott, the owner of Aiden James Customs and many don't know this, I am also the only employee of AJC.

That being said, I greatly apologize if I do not get back very timely as not only am I fielding hundreds of questions daily, I also have a day job of a Toyota Technician and a family. AJC has grown exponentially recently and I am in the process of hiring help however, I cannot find it quick enough.

I regret that I am slow to respond currently and certainly understand the frustration. I can say that I will not leave anyone hanging with their orders, I just can't build these custom kits fast enough and keep up with the questions and requests from potential and current customers. This does not settle well with me and I'm working hard to improve this.

I was notified of this post by a friend of mine and I'm glad he let me know since I cannot physically keep up with the different avenues of communication to me.

If I owe anyone a response in this thread, please reach out to my personal email, [email protected] and I will be working on getting back to people this weekend.

Again, I greatly apologize if I have caused any inconvenience and hope this helps understand what is going on with AJC.

Great that you responded but technology is your friend and auto-replays can go a long way to heading off issues like this. I applaud your efforts to provide a service and respect prioritizing family but doing things half-ass doesn't do anyone any good. Best of luck getting things heading in the right direction.

Thank you for the feedback but I do have an auto-reply on every email sent to me, the issue is the amount of emails I get and the and the volume of business which includes the custombuilds keeps me from being able to keep up with emails, social media questions and phone calls.

Just to throw my two cents in Scott has been very helpful on the Facebook page for 5th gen runners helping people with problems that don't even have to do with his company. Seeing how he treats people that aren't customers i would do business with him without hesitation. One man shows are hard.

Thank you very much! I do this out of the passion I have for these rigs and honestly did not expect this type of growth but am humbled by it....now I need to find qualified help so I can ensure I can properly service and respond to everyone.

Mike, I am sure you got my email today. I'd like to offer you my under hood like kit for free for the inconvenience if interested? Again, I am very sorry for the delay in communication and thank you for your patience. I am out of town starting tomorrow morning but will be catching up on emails this weekend through next week. I ordered a set on Wednesday (8/23) and the site said 60 days behind...long time but fantastic custom product and reading the about us page everything listed above is there...day job and family man. Hope you get some good help soon love to see more of these kits out there and faster order / ship times.

Amazon has spoiled me and I am used to having everything in two days...but happy to wait a reasonable amount of time for a custom product.

Hey Scott,
Thanks for the explanation, clears things up. I had emailed twice since placing my order first week of august, with no response. I was getting concerned to say the least.

I sent off an email to you, hope to hear back.

Thanks again for the awesome custom work as others have said!! Your led DRL bezel kit should be stock on the 4runners as far as I'm concerned.
