Here is a pic of the install from our tester. The two supports easily holds one of the largest CVT RTT (about 160 pounds). Our customer weighs about 275 and also has got inside without any issues.

We have an RTT on order and expect it here next week. The design itself will remain the same but depending on our additional weight testing, we will be adding additional gussets for strength.
I’m a bit confused by this picture - does the tent have to be attached to the cross bars before Install? If the cross bars slide in the same as factory, that’d be incredibly hard to slide the cross bars in through the rear with a 150lb tent attached.

Also, the way the channels go down near the body of the vehicle, it looks like you couldn’t reach under while they’re installed to bolt things to it. Again - having to pull them completely off to mount anything.

Lastly - did you guys adjust the clearance from the previous picture in Engineers thread? One of those pictures seemed to show maybe 1/16” clearance between the cross bars and roof.

The first time you install the cross bars, its easiest if you remove the factory rails and attach the supports. The tent was attached to the bars on a bench and then the complete assembly was remounted to the roof. If you have intentions of taking your RTT off and on your vehicle, we will be offering a quick release system.

You cannot reach underneath the supports when they are attached. It wasn't designed to do that. The slots are for ratchets straps and our designed accessories that haven't been released yet. We have welded nuts for on each support to work with our accessories.

The angle of the picture is deceiving and there is a sufficient gap to accomadate the weight.

Ah - welded nuts will help, couldn’t tell from the picture. Thanks for the info!

Super excited for the aluminum variant.

+1 to adding some sort of angled feature on the front RSS for aerodynamics/noise reduction.

Are there any install instructions on how these get mounted to the factory rails or how additional accessories can be added?

Being able to install the cross bars without having to remove the rack would be a huge plus, surprised that the testers have not commented on that.

I think the price is fair especially for those who don't want to go through running a full rack 24/7. If these are easy to install remove it helps solve the issue some folks have brought up with washing/waxing under a rack.

Have the folks already testing these bars chimed in on the board with their thoughts so far?

Apologies if I missed it, but what is the weight on these?

The up close pictures do it a lot more justice. Lots of flexibility in configuration in the design. Kudos on east looks like a promising new product.

Just my 2 cents, but tweak the vertical sections of these bars like a parallelogram for better aerodynamics while maintaining rigidity. The leading vertical edge bent inwards, the following edge bent outwards.

I've been considering other 1/2-3/4 racks for my SR5P but this may be a more factory-looking solution to consider.

I'm anxious to see what other mounts and accessories will be available.

I think you mean trapezoidal, not parallelogram. You would only need to mod the leading edge of the first rail and leave the rest square as is.
