don't get this bumper if u are running king shocks.. the king front reservoir brackets are in the way to install the extra mounting bracket this bumper needs. Not sure if I'll relocate the reservoirs somehow or just get a different loprofile bumper. Or cut the brackets in half and weld them.
Anyone know if other lo profile bumpers mount differently?
(Should have probably cleaned the the 4runner better before attempting the install )

Was able to finish the install. Cut those extension brackets to make it fit. That lateral bolt is kinda useless anyway. C4 installs theirs without it as well. Happy how it turned out in the end.

That’s a good idea! I thought the super beefy support bars were overkill while I installed mine as well. Not to mention that installing those supports was the most finicky part of the install. Took forever for them to go in straight and true without binding at one of the large bolts (19mm?) that go into the frame.

Looking to add this bumper and Smittybilt Gen 2 X20 10k winch to my 2019 OR. I like that it has large access ports for the winch and doesn't have a light bar cutout.
Anyone want to comment on long term feed back?
Are you still happy with this bumper or do you wish you had something else?
Price has increased on the Warn 100022 to $772 are these still worth it?

I still like mine, but I would shop that price. FYI, the winch is very good. I added synthetic line. Also, extreme LED x6 fits perfectly inside the hoop if you decide you want a bar.

I ordered one Friday night from here:
Warn Semi Hidden Mounting Kit | Discount Bandit
For $717.00
UPS just dropped it off. That's a big heavy box.
I looked up reviews on this Discount Bandit site and they are horrible. Couple Better Business Bureau complaints on cancelled orders. Figured I'd give them a shot and they came through.
Still need to order a winch.
Edited to add...
How soon do I need a lift kit to support the weight?

Sans hoop
Here it is without the hoop for those wondering what it would look like. Had a body shop grind it off for $20.

Installed the Warn:
A floor jack really came in handy for moving that thing around.

Oh.... oh I like that.... So I'm assuming the hoop is just welded to the surface of the bumper? (not "through" the bumper) After that did they respray the whole bumper or just a touch up?

Correct, welded to but not through. Was going to rattlecan the top face only but the shop beat me to it. If the touch up paint isn't durable then there's going to be chipping during fitment/cutting of the bumper cover unless protected.

What size of D shackles did you buy? What spray paint did you use?

Faust,
Is this the bracket you're using?
2014-2020 Toyota 4Runner 32" Light Bar Hidden Bumper Combo - Cali Raised LED
I note it has 2 light bar positions are you using the upper or lower position?
Any reason to not get their house brand 32inch light bar?

I'm looking at options for a hybrid style bumper, mainly this one, SSO and LFD, primarily so I can add a winch.
I am completely ignorant on winch use at this point, but I'm pretty familiar with reel use from cave diving. Do you not have to respool the line on a winch after you use to to make sure it isn't all bunched up on one side? How do you do that if you cant see the spool?
THe LFD bumper has a huge opening so you can see it, but then the line is exposed to UV all the time. Not sure which is the worse of two evils...
