2016 TE with KDSS. Small 2.5” / 1” lift via Bilstein 6112/5160 and Wheeler T13 rear springs.
Works for me...easier than anticipated to install.

Most of the rest is in there. Oh and I would guess I'm at 3" in the front and rear. No lean last time I checked!

2014 Trail Edition
Front: - Icon Tubular UCA's
- Icon 2.5 Remote Resi Extended Travel Shocks
- Icon 700# Springs
- Total Chaos Spindle Gusset
- BMC
- KDSS Sway Bar Removed!
Rear: - Metal Tech Upper & Lower Links
- Icon 2.5 Remote Resi Shocks
- Dobinsons C59-701V
- KDSS Sway Bar Removed
SCS Stealth 6 Wheels
Toyo Open Country M/T's 285/75R17 (34.1")
So, why the removed sway bars? The KDSS system does not work well with a lot of wheel travel and lift. The lift burns up the down travel of the piston as it is designed for stock configuration. Also, the fixed side of the sway bar also limits down as well as up travel. For me and the type of wheeling I do, the removal of the sway bar has in fact made a difference. I noticed it on this one trail, I had ran both with and then without, and with the sway bars limiting travel, the truck did not feel stable. When I ran without, the truck felt more planted and went through the section much easier.
These are without.

I have only removed the sway bars, the system is still intact but I have strapped the piston up in the compressed position. So, with this approach, the computer still thinks everything is there and no dash light. One day, I may remove the system completely, but I have other projects with a higher priority.

Kdss experts... when installing a lift I have read to strap the piston in the kdss system. What about disconnecting the battery? Would this lack of power to the system keep the kdss ram from operating?
