The lift amount and the shock I choose don't really have any direct influence in my decision making... My problem is the lack of adjustability.
Even if I was running a stock height, I would opt for the best damper I could get for my application.
Unfortunately for my application, the 6112 is falling short in some areas, but it gets me 70-80% there as is. I just need to back off the sauce in certain driving conditions because the valving on the 6112 is too open for higher speed stuff, and being a digressive piston isn't helping the situation.
BUT I do agree, that combo is hard to beat from a value standpoint.
If I had the OPs predicament at the time, it would have probably forced that buy once cry once purchase because I am already planning on upgrading again after a couple years of owning the 6112.
