Trd skid plate (kdss) plus rci Control arm skid plates

Anyone have pics or info about the install? Would like to know if the TRD skid plate needs to be cut more to fit the RCI control arm skid plates.

PS: TRD skid plate already adjusted to fit kdss

I'm not sure about KDSS, but i have seen people cut the TRD plate for the control arm skids, also, i met a guy that cut the actual control arm skids themselves to fit around the TRD skid plate. if it were me i would go with the latter of the two.

@JPOVS Well you get to skip some hassle. Appreciate the pics, so you had to cut both sides at the back corner of the skid? Am i understanding this correctly?

A arm skids are very straight forward. Just 3 bolts each. A sawzall is very helpful in cutting the TRD skid.

I would skip the LCA skids, They really provide no benefit in the real world.

Stock LCA's are plenty strong.

I've been running Total Chaos LCA's for about 4 years now. They have an integrated 1/4" steel skid, which after a couple dozen wheeling adventures, only have minor scratches on the skids. This would suggest that as long as you are at least somewhat careful selecting your line, you shouldn't be dragging your LCA's.

Because I've beat the crap out of these trucks and never had the front LCA get damaged. I've also never seen or heard of it being damaged.

The rear shock skids are worth it. The rear LCA skid mounts are almost mandatory. Beefier rear LCAs or skids are also very worth it. These however provide no real world benefit at all IMHO.

If you want jewelry on your truck.. then fine. They won't really hurt anything, just not functional.
