If anyone in the NJ area is looking to have their car fluid film undercoated let me know as i can do it for you for a lot less then what some of these shops are asking, as i have access to lifts all being sprayed with professional sprayer for a thick coating. Hit me up if you are interested

I did mine in my garage with the car on the ground. I wish someone in KC offered this as a service as it was really messy. Although we don't get a ton of salt put down like you guys do on the east coast.
FYI for those DIYing it: the stuff in the aerosol cans is much thinner (drippier) than the stuff in the paint cans (doesn't drip unless you put in on really thick, or you get very hot weather immediately after applying). If you have a sprayer that can spray the thick stuff, you shouldn't get drips.
Yup you are absolutely right. The spray cans are very thin. For the best protection it needs to be sprayed on thick with a sprayer. The cans are good for small area like latches lower door parts, hinges etc.
